I managed to spend most of the weekend locked in my craftroom scrapping away. I made all the invitations to my sister's shower, some cards and tons of scrapbook pages. I decided to showcase the pages today. Many of the pages had already been started but still needed titles, journaling or embellishments but I finished up all the pages, got them put into albums and put on the page protectors; which somehow always makes me like them better. I may not love a page but once I put it into some one's album and put the page protector on I do seem to like them better. Go figure! Perhaps it's the feeling of accomplishment, I don't know but I do love how these pages came out.
For the last page I wanted to post a before, during and after picture because I tried a new technique and I loved it. Using Stampin Up!'s designer series paper natural composition specialty (which is embossed for you!) and some re- inkers on a sponge I made a multi- colored background in which the pattern still showed up. It's an embossed resist without having to emboss myself. I loved the way it came out. Don't you?
